Today I’m setting up the logic for Old Man McGucket’s mission to gather the parts that he needs to build the Gobblewonker. It’s a fairly basic collection quest that is designed to encourage players to explore the toy box.
Here are the logic diagrams for this episode. The first diagram is for dynamically generating the old man. As I mentioned last time, it saves memory when you remove a townsperson from the toy box if players are nowhere near that character’s location.

The second diagram is for setting up the townsperson as a mission giver and for starting the mission. The replayer, which is represented by the green box, is the same object that is used on the next diagram. (I couldn’t easily show all of the connections in one diagram, so I had to split it up.)

The third diagram is for completing the mission. Again, the green replayer in this diagram is the same replayer object as the previous diagram.
